How to navigate your branded admin menu
Your WooShop dashboard is designed to help you manage your store without the clutter of a standard WordPress backend. We’ve organized the sidebar menu so the tools you use most—like orders, products, and site design—are always front and center, allowing you to focus on running your business rather than managing software.
How to use your sidebar menu
- Log in to your store: Enter your credentials to land on the main dashboard.
- Locate the Sidebar: On the left side of your screen, you’ll see the primary navigation menu. This is your command center.
- The Store Section: Click on Orders to see recent purchases, or Products to add new items or update inventory. These are your most-used daily tools.
- The Design Section: Look for Appearance or Kadence. This is where you change your site’s colors, fonts, and header layouts.
- Marketing and Analytics: Use these tabs to create discount coupons or view your sales reports for the week.
- Collapse the Menu: If you need more screen space to edit a page, click the small arrow at the bottom of the sidebar to collapse it into icons.
Practical scenarios
- Processing morning orders: Instead of hunting through settings, go straight to WooCommerce > Orders. You can see what needs to be shipped at a glance.
- Updating a seasonal sale: Navigate to Marketing > Coupons to set up a discount code, then head to Products to ensure your stock levels are ready for the traffic.
- Changing your homepage banner: Go to Appearance > Customize. This opens the visual editor where you can see your changes in real-time before hitting publish.
Troubleshooting common issues
The sidebar menu has disappeared
You likely clicked the "Collapse menu" button at the very bottom of the sidebar. Look for a small gray arrow in the bottom-left corner and click it to expand the text labels again.
I can’t find a specific plugin setting
To keep things clean, some technical settings are tucked away. Check under Settings or Tools. If a plugin you recently added isn’t appearing, try refreshing your browser or checking the Plugins tab to ensure it is active.
The menu looks different on my phone
On mobile devices, the admin menu is hidden behind a "hamburger" icon (three horizontal lines) at the top of the screen. Tap that to reveal your navigation options.
Quick recap
The branded menu is your shortcut to the parts of WooCommerce that actually matter for your daily sales. By grouping shop management, design, and settings into clear sections, you spend less time clicking and more time selling.
